All of us here at DAL have been working overtime to get things rolling as quickly as possible in order for you to enjoy your favorite on line games in a competitive atmosphere. DAL is a go!!! We feel we have everything ready. Please get your teams registered along with all your clan members. That way when we start, you will be familiar with the setup and rules. This will certainly make it go a lot more smoother when we get rolling. Challenges will be made and you will all be up to the task at hand.So keep checking back frequently and please start your posts in the DAL forums

 

Waiting on your account activation email? Do you use HotMail or Yahoo?
If you're a new registrant and have a HotMail or Yahoo account please don't ask an Admin to activate your account unless you've verified that your activation email is not in your Junk/Bulk Mail folder. The vast majority of validation issues are due to HotMail or Yahoo filters placing our activation email there. We cannot control this as they treat our email as spam.

If you have account activation issues do NOT re-register. If your e-mailer trashed us once, they'll trash us again.

Make The Game Enjoyable
Thoughts of you who have had matches already know that being organized is defiantly key to doing well. Having your team in the server early relieves the stress of having to scramble and find teammates. When in your matches it is important that only clan captains discuss procedures with each other. All other players are to use “team say”. Foul language towards opposing teams is grounds for default and generally makes you look bad and immature.

Knowing the rules makes all the difference in the world. Being familiar with them allows you to concentrate on your game and strategies. It is always better to try and resolve your differences than to have the admins rule. When this is the case usually one team is dissatisfied. When you can’t seem to find common ground within these rules it is very important to provide demos, screenshots and a brief explanation. It is also desirable to state what remedy you are looking for.

Ladders Under Way
Well we are well under way and we’re not looking back. We have had a tremendous start with plenty of team’s registering. I would however hope that more teams would have signed up for the 2 vs. 2 ladders. These ladders are a great way of improving your league experience quickly and without the major in game pressures usually associated on the 5 vs. 5 ladders. On the 2 vs. 2 ladders you can quickly assemble a team and get to know your players and the competition. So if you’re unsure about league play give the 2 vs. 2 a try.

So check out the 2 vs. 2 ladders. It may just be what the doctor ordered. Many of the more experienced teams will be happy to help you out.

Exploits.
This is a reminder to all teams and players that using game and or map exploits is illegal whether known or unknown.
DAL makes the final decision on all used exploits and punishments may include forfeits suspensions removals.

During this season some teams have used the 'crouch running' or 'silent running' exploit to put other teams at a disadvantage. Teams may have matches overturned and players suspended for using this exploit. This is considered an exploit and will be treated as such.
